14 Months and July 4th

What a fun last few months it has been. Every age keeps getting better and better!! Emersyn is continuing to eat new things everyday and is VERY active. Her first session of swim lessons was a success and we continue to have a full blown water baby on our hands. She plays by herself with her toys for longer and longer stretches of time it seems. It is so fascinating to watch her imagination run wild. She talks to her dolls, loves organizing/stacking anything she can get her hands on, and is going up and down the stairs will such ease. Millie, our family border collie, continues to be her faithful companion and often times a pillow, as Emersyn insists on laying on her and giving hugs as often as Millie will sit still long enough for her to do so. She waves and smiles to every little child/baby that she sees and continues to be very social. Emersyn recently had her first round trip international flight which was to Barcelona, Spain and home from Venice, Italy. To say she was a good traveler would truly not be giving her the credit she deserves! She was a dream. Will of course post more from that trip soon, as we have to sort through over 3,000 pics first :). I catch myself laughing and dancing more than ever before ( most often to the Hop Movie Trailer from YouTube which I know is very random but you see.. she has the Hop bunny and since hearing him playing the drums once..she will request "HOPPP" anytime she sees someone with a iphone/ipad..).We might have created a monster there...A common question Jon and I ask each other is "What did we do before she was here"? Quite simply put, we couldn't imagine her not being here. Happy 14th months to our loving, playful, hugging, dancing, waving baby girl.
