"The Big Chill" is the nickname of the annual ice fishing tournament in MN. To say it is a fun weekend would be an understatement! We look forward to it every year and this year it was held the weekend of Febuary 10th-12th. Our Aunt Aleta and Uncle John should win an award for being the ultimate host and hostess. We have family come in from all over the country as well as from the UK and Liverpool for a fun filled weekend of fishing, snowmobiling, and many laughs. The first prize this year for the tournament took home $20,000 in prize money and was a 2lbs fish (over 4,000 people in tournament). Although there were 18 of us in our group fishing this year and only 1 fish was caught (yay Audrey), we all went home winners with the amazing stories and memories.
