Another fun year for the annual Easter Egg Hunt in my parents neighborhood. My parents, sisters, and Alyssa's friends that are down here on Spring Break all came out to cheer on Emersyn. Giffen sat this year out and patiently waited on the sidelines scoping out the competition for his sister. Emersyn was more into grabbing the eggs and placing them into her basket this year as well as telling us all what colors they were as she was doing so. When did she get so big!?! The blue and yellow ones seemed to be her favorite. She did find a "Golden Egg" which she was able to redeem for a fun pool toy. Also, a quick chat with the Easter Bunny or who Emersyn has so lovingly nicknamed "Hop" made for a fun conclusion to our morning festivities. Although we did skip out on the family egg and spoon competition.... There is always next year :)
