Long Over Due Part 1

So after several requests and a quick pep talk to myself, I decided to give our family Blog another go because let's be honest, we are truly long over due for a new post! So much has happened since our last post we updated in February and we have so many new pictures to share. I thought it would be easiest to start with our most recent trip to Florida. I feel very fortunate to have had the past two weeks to spend with family and loved watching Emersyn receiving so much love :) The day before we flew down Emersyn had her two month checkup which yes, did include her two month shots. She was such a champ and only cried a little bit afterwards.

We were worried how she would react on the flight the next morning, but I can assure you once we hit the air she was out for the whole two and half hour flight. Jon and I don't know how we got so lucky to have such an amazing baby!



First Flight



Since Emmie was wearing a blue top, we did receive many " Oh how cute is he" remarks...note to self that we should probably dress her in more pink items now and then :)

First bottle ever

 Jon feeding Emmie her first bottle ever on Father's Day. She took to it right away and it was such a great bonding experience to watch between the two of them :)

While we were in FL we were so excited to spend time with my cousin and her daughter Lilah (Emmie's second cousin). They live in AZ so it was such a treat to have a few days with them!

As you can see it didn't take long for them to start playing together :) Lilah thought Emmie needed her giraffe. So much fun to have them both together. I was amazed when I realized from watching Lilah, that in just a few months, Emmie will be able to sit up and crawl just like her cousin. It seems like they grow so fast the first year!!

At my parent's they have an amazing neighborhood pool...more like a resort with slides and large fountains for the kids to play in. The next few pictures are of Emmie's first pool experience. She actually loved it even though this first picture might make her look unsure of the whole thing. :)
